Christmas Blessings and a Happy New Year

Tena koutou, Huang Ying, Talofa lava, Fakalofa lahi atu, Malo e lelei, Bula, Welcome, and greetings church family.

Christmas blessings and Happy New Year to all our church members.

What a blessed and hope filled time of the year Christmas is as we remember how God sent his son Jesus to save us and give us eternal life.

My sermon this Sunday is titled ‘Remember God, Refocus and Restart’ and our prayer for you is that you will find the time to relax and refresh over this summer break, spending time with our Lord to recharge your spiritual batteries ready to serve our God in 2023.

As I write this final edition of Pastoral Message for the year I want to declare

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield b and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2).

I want to praise “the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Ps 103:1-2).

2022

This year for me, Felicity and family has been memorable in so many ways. We have a new church family, we have moved from a place we called home for over 40 years, we have been called by St Peters congregation to be the Minister to mention a few. We praise and thank our Lord for his blessings and look forward with excitement to the New Year and the journey God has planned for us here at St Peters.
