Behold God

This Sunday marks the end of Creation Month, and I want to invite you to do something meaningful to help us celebrate God’s creation.

Before Sunday, take a moment to look around your home, your garden, or wherever you are. What is one thing in creation that makes you stop and think, “God, thank you”?

Maybe it’s a flower, a leaf, a piece of fruit, a shell, a stone, a photograph, something from your vegetable garden—or something completely different.

Choose one thing and bring it with you to church this Sunday.

It doesn’t have to be valuable or impressive. It simply needs to mean something to you—a small reminder of the goodness, beauty, and generosity of God.

When you arrive, we’ll bring these symbols together and create a special display as part of our worship. For a moment, we’ll see the many different things that have helped us recognise God’s goodness.

Psalm 103 reminds us:

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

How easy it is to forget.

So, this Sunday, let’s remember. Let’s come with thankful hearts and bring something that reminds us of God’s creation.

And as we look, let us behold the Creator.

Because at the heart of our thanksgiving is Jesus:

“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” — John 1:29

So, will you join us?

Bring your symbol and come and make this Sunday a beautiful expression of gratitude—a congregation gathered together to say:

“Lord, we remember. Lord, we are grateful. Lord, we behold You.”
