Gratitude For Our Volunteers

Kia ora koutou, and warm greetings, church family!

Today I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for our dedicated volunteers at St. Peter’s. Your efforts enable us to enjoy our church community every week and reflect the wonderful vision of our founders.

Throughout the week, volunteers assist in the kitchen, welcome visitors, and prepare for events like our community lunch and youth activities like ICONZ and IGirls. Musicians, sound technicians, KIC helpers and worship leaders dedicate their time to ensure our Sunday services are uplifting and aligned with the Word. Our team of morning tea servers, bakers and door servers add to our warm welcome . Board and session members also commit to monthly meetings, all while balancing their regular jobs.

We must also acknowledge our small group leaders providing vital pastoral care. If you are among those I’ve mentioned, thank you! Your contributions are the backbone of our ministry.

Here’s a message from Scripture:
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others… so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 4:10-11)

“Clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience… And be thankful.” (Colossians 3:12-15)

Thank you all for your service. St. Peter’s is indeed so blessed to have you all.
