This week I have been thinking about disapointment as I prepare for this week's sermon titled "Denial & Restore". This is based around Peter the Disciple, who though he denied Jesus, is later restored and called "the rock upon which I will build my church".

When Felicity and I first moved down here we were amazed at the wonderful fruit and vegetable provisions of Tauranga Moana. The place has an abundance of orchards and gardens not found up in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland, so it was wonderful yesterday to bring this aspect before the Lord in prayer.
